HOLYSOUQ · Handmade in the Old City of Jerusalem

The Last Summer Sandal You'll Ever Need.

Full-grain cowhide, dual-stitched. Made to soften with every step—and stay with you summer after summer.

Three reasons people never go back to mall sandals

Beautiful patina

Vegetable-tanned leather deepens in colour with every wear — they look better in year three than on day one.

Rock-proof durability

Hand-stitched. Reinforced straps on a hard-wearing polyurethane sole built for pavements, gravel and coastlines.

Buy once, lasts 5 summers

One well-made pair instead of a new throwaway pair every June.

Built to Outlast Every Summer

Rock-proof polyurethane sole

Handles hot pavement, gravel paths and rough rocks without going flat.

Water-resistant leather

Treated hides mean a sudden downpour or a wave over the ankle will not ruin them.

100% dual-stitched straps

Dual-stitched straps hold firm season after season.

Top-grain leather resists tearing

100% genuine top-grain hide — not split leather, not bonded, not synthetic.

Soles that stay springy

Polyurethane will not compress or go flat under a season of walking.

Cheaper by summer five

Costs more upfront than a mall pair, then outlives five of them.

Sandals That Age Like Fine Wine.

Sandals That Age Like Fine Wine.

Day 1 (light) vs Day 300 (dark). Watch the leather darken and soften into a beautiful patina. It absorbs the natural oils from your skin, develops a rich golden-brown sheen, and records your journey in every scuff and scratch. No two pairs end up the same — yours becomes yours.

Three generations in one workshop

Generation by generation

The story begins with my grandfather, a crafter who spent almost 20 years as a shoemaker before moving his creativity to leather bags, made in his small shop in the Old City of Jerusalem. I moved in with him at 14 and spent much of my time in the workshop in the basement of our home. I learnt a lot there, and found it the most exciting thing I could do with my life.
